MEET THE TEAM
Luke has been coaching in and around Sandbach since 2015, helping everyone, from complete beginners to master the basics, to teaching experienced gym goers the olympic lifts, and everything inbetween. Over this time he has added to his Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer qualifications by becoming a qualified Nutrition Coach, a Pre and Post Natal Specialist, and a British Weightlifting Certified Coach.
Luke grew up playing football and has always enjoyed being active and learning something new. Most recently he took part in his first CrossFit competition, same sex pairs, named ‘Team SlothFit’ (guess who this was named after!), finishing 9th in the RX division.
Since gaining his qualifications as a fitness instructor and personal trainer, Dan has helped his clients and some of our TRAIN members to achieve a wide range of personal goals (you can read more about one of Dans’ clients, Kirsty, on our TRAIN milestones page)
Dan has always been interested in sports and fitness, and he still loves to challenge himself now. In 2020 he ran his first (and last, we think!) marathon and often takes part in our TRAIN fitness social events, such as Tough Mudder, a 10km run with 30 obstacles along the way! And if you want to join him and the TRAIN gang, they’ve signed up for this year too!
John is a CrossFit and British Atlas Weightlifting certified coach with over ten years of experience competing and coaching fitness, from beginner to elite levels. In a past life he was a U21 GB rower, however since 2011 he has dedicated his life to all things CrossFit. Last year he placed within the top 3% fittest males in Europe and the world. When coaching, his biggest focus is ensuring great technique and efficient movement, helping everyone move more confidently…he also loves a cheesy tune to dance to during a class!
Eden has a passion for sport and exercise since growing up in a sporty household. She has since gone on to complete her level 2 gym instructor qualification, followed by gaining a level 1 Hatton boxercise qualification.
Currently, alongside coaching classes at TRAIN, Eden is studying for her level 3 personal training qualification which will be completed June 2023.
Eden is looking forward to the next steps in her career within the fitness industry and helping others to find their own passion for exercise on the way to reaching their goals.
One of Eden’s personal goals is to take part in her first CrossFit competition in the near future!
